"I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. If I help [Barack Obama], he will help me."-- Peggy Joseph, Obama rally attendee.
I don't blame people like Ms. Joseph for thinking the way they do. I blame Obama and his campaign for allowing this kind of thinking to be perpetuated.
If recent news reports are to be believed, Obama and his acolytes are already working at toning down lofty expectations that they built during the campaign in order to get votes from individuals like Ms. Joseph. That's "change," alright.
