Those Who Can't

It's hard to believe but true. The Rochester School District has hired Rep. Andy Welti (DFL-30B) as a temporary, part-time American Government and Economics teacher. That's on paper. In reality, Welti will be teaching Disingenuous Liberalism 101. You know, the kind that throws the words "bipartisan" and "moderate" around like they really believe or act on them.
A teacher in the Dover-Eyota School District, where Welti used to sub, told me that students complained that all Welti did during classes was talk about himself and about running for office. Fortunately, his assignment with the Rochester School District only lasts until the end of the fall semester. Still, he could do a lot of damage and spread a lot of misinformation during that time.
I wonder if Welti is going to talk about his legislative crown jewel, HF522, which criminalizes the possession of glass containers on the waters of the state.
Welti is an unfortunate validation of the saying, "Those who can't, teach."

Thanks for calling out how the Rochester far left is trying - yet again - to get a strangling grip on our School District.

The only good thing about the election of Ann Lynch and Kim Norton was the fact that they would be away from the Rochester School Board. Now we have Andy Welti there to warp young impressionable minds.

Someone should plant a seed in the audience and report weekly on your blog what was taught, what was going on, then you can report on it to keep the pressure up.
