"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran...In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."
-- Tough gal Hillary, the warmonger on how she would deal with Iran
Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad must be shaking in his palace.
The folks over at United for Peace for Pierce County are not happy with commander in chief wannabe Hillary:
What is undeniably foolish is to talk of "totally obliterating" something; Webster's New World Dictionary [4th ed.] defines 'obliterate' as 'to blot out or wear away, leaving no traces; erase, efface' and 'to do away with as if by effacing, destroy'. "Totally obliterate" is thus a redundant expression, just as "partially obliterate" would be nonsensical. -- More interesting than Clinton's remark is her evident calculation that such a pronouncement will win her votes in a Democratic primary race.
Of course she would do no such thing as bomb Iran, or North Korea or Colombia or anywhere else that poses a threat to America's (or Israel's) national security . She is a Democrat, for crying out loud.
